Patients with kyphosis tend to have an outward rounding of the thoracic spine which can progress as the adolescent grows. This brace is a great treatment option for persons with kyphosis, kyphoscoliosis and Scheuermann’s disease.

The kyphologic brace is designed to reduce anterior vertebral loading during growth to allow to spine to regain a normal position. For adults it helps to reduce pain and supports the spine during part-time wear.

The kyphologic brace is a light weight brace with 2, 3 point pressure systems that create thoracic extension. With less material than previous braces, the front closure straps offer pressure to the rib prominence to reduce it and stabilize the pelvis.
